ITV1 +1 to launch 1st October
Posted 2nd September 2009 by PaulITV1 +1 – a one hour timeshifted version of ITV1 – will be launching on Virgin TV and Sky on the 1st October. The new channel will be on air 10.25am-7am daily – it will not air a timeshifted version of GMTV.
With regards to what region ITV1 +1 will be – Digital Spy reports “six regional variants will be transmitted: London; “South East Macro” encompassing Meridian and Anglia; “West Macro” encompassing Wales, West and West Country; Central; a single region for Yorkshire and Tyne Tees; and a further single region for Granada and Border”. ITV1 +1 will not be available in Scotland, Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands.
No Freeview launch has been confirmed.
