BBC One HD to launch on the 3rd November

BBC One HD will launch on Wednesday 3rd November, according to the BBC Reception pages on their official website.

BBC One HD will be a simulcast of BBC One.

The existing BBC HD channel will remain but will now mostly air content from BBC Two, BBC Three and BBC Four.

BBC One HD will be available on Freesat and Sky from launch, and it’s thought it will launch on Virgin Media at the same time. It will also be available on Freeview (for people with Freeview HD boxes) in due course.
