MTV will be rebranding some of their channels on the 1st July.
They will be dropping the “Music Television” subtext from their channel logos and MTVN HD will be renamed to MTV Live HD.

MTV channels will also be available in 16:9 widescreen for the first time in their UK history on that same date.
Eurosport 3D will launch on the 22nd May.
The channel will be available exclusively on Virgin Media from launch and will kick off with 3D coverage of the French Open running through to the 5th June.
Eurosport 3D will be available on channel 523 and is already in the EPG ready for its 22nd May launch.

Sky Sports red button services launched on Virgin Media earlier this month.
The new red button options are available at various times – i.e. when there are additional football matches to show that aren’t on the standard Sky Sports channels.
Tivo customers won’t have the Sky Sports red button services for a while.
Playhouse Disney has been relaunched as Disney Junior.
Disney Junior is on Sky channel 611 & Virgin Media channel 727, and Disney Junior + (the +1 hour counterpart) is on Sky channel 612.
TView’s official website has confirmed the pay-per-view service on digital terrestrial channel 32 is no longer broadcasting.
They state it was their “test launch period” and they have “new plans” that will be announced soon.
Sky customers in the Republic of Ireland will be able to watch BBC Three, BBC Four, CBBC and CBeebies from the EPG for the first time.
The channels will be added to Sky’s EPG in the ROI on the 12th May and are available without subscription.
