Sky are launching a brand new channel to show their Formula 1 coverage on next year.
Sky Sports F1 HD will launch in March and will air all races live, live practice & qualifying for every race and extra live content. The channel will also be available on Sky Go via a laptop or mobile device.
The channel will be available at no extra cost for people already subscribing to Sky Sports packages 1 & 2 or the HD pack of channels. Sky Sports customers without the HD pack will receive the standard definition version of the channel.
The new channel has only be confirmed for launch on Sky at the moment.
Sky have plans to make several changes to their channels on the 24th January 2012.
Sky HD customers will only see the HD versions of Sky Arts 1 and Sky Arts 2. Also, Sky Arts 1 HD will move futher up the EPG to channel 129, and Sky Arts 2 HD will also move up to channel 130.
Sky 2 will be moved down the EPG from channel 129 to channel 121.
Sky Living Loves will be closed down on the same day, and Sky Living +1 will move from channel 121 to channel 123.
Sky 3D (only available for Sky HD customers with a 3D-capable TV) will be moving from channel 217 to channel 170.
