Sky are launching a brand new channel to show their Formula 1 coverage on next year.
Sky Sports F1 HD will launch in March and will air all races live, live practice & qualifying for every race and extra live content. The channel will also be available on Sky Go via a laptop or mobile device.
The channel will be available at no extra cost for people already subscribing to Sky Sports packages 1 & 2 or the HD pack of channels. Sky Sports customers without the HD pack will receive the standard definition version of the channel.
The new channel has only be confirmed for launch on Sky at the moment.

Sky Movies Christmas will return again this year for the festive period.
Sky Movies Showcase will become Sky Movies Christmas on the 1st December, and will run through until at least the 2nd January.
Christmas-themed films will be shown on the channel as well as the themed days they normally have throughout the rest of the year.
Sky Movies are also holding a vote for which films should air on the channel on the 1st and 2nd January
on the Sky Movies website.
Movies 24 has rebranded as Christmas 24 for the festive period.
They now show Christmas movies until the end of the year.
The channel will rebrand back to Movies 24 in the new year.
Sky have plans to make several changes to their channels on the 24th January 2012.
Sky HD customers will only see the HD versions of Sky Arts 1 and Sky Arts 2. Also, Sky Arts 1 HD will move futher up the EPG to channel 129, and Sky Arts 2 HD will also move up to channel 130.
Sky 2 will be moved down the EPG from channel 129 to channel 121.
Sky Living Loves will be closed down on the same day, and Sky Living +1 will move from channel 121 to channel 123.
Sky 3D (only available for Sky HD customers with a 3D-capable TV) will be moving from channel 217 to channel 170.
A 1-hour timeshifted version of Channel 5 will launch next month.
Channel 5 +1 will launch on Freeview, Freesat and Sky in early December.
It’s thought Virgin Media TV customers will get the channel at some stage next year.
BBC One HD is now available on the Sky Ireland EPG.
It’s the same channel as the UK receives and doesn’t have any regional opt-outs yet.
Regional BBC One HD channels aren’t due for launch until 2012 or 2013.
PBS UK will launch tonight at 7.50pm on Sky channel 166 and Virgin Media channel 243.
The placeholder channel known as Rosa which has been on the Sky EPG for several weeks on channel 231 has been removed.
PBS UK is a pay-TV version of the non-profit US channel.
