Channel 4 planning a repeats channel
Posted 13th January 2012 by PaulChannel 4 are looking to launch a new channel consisting of repeats of popular programmes from the past seven days.
The idea is being slated as Project Shuffle.
Broadcast Now say “the main channel’s content would be made available for the next seven days in a linear broadcast fashion”.
For example “an episode of Location, Location, Location premiering on a Wednesday would be played out in the same slot on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday”.
It’s not known what the channel would be called, when it will launch or which TV platforms it will be available on.
