Diva TV ceases broadcasting

The channel was available on Sky channel 269 and Virgin Media channel 164.

The previously mentioned relaunch of Watch will now take place on the 9th March.
Design Week reports “full branding on the channel will launch from 9 March, though some elements will appear around the launch of Grimm in February”.

NBC Universal have announced Diva TV is set to close next month.
Diva TV will cease broadcasting on the 14th February with its most popular programmes being moved across to their Style channel.
The closure is due to NBC Universal’s shift of focus onto the Style Network. Their offering will now comprise of Style, E!, Universal Channel, Syfy and Movies 24. The move follows NBC Universal’s acquisition by Comcast in March 2011.

UKTV-owned channel Watch will debut its new look on the 7th February.
The channel will get a brand new logo and identity. Programming will likely remain unchanged.
This will be the third logo change since the channel’s launch. The current logo was introduced in September 2010.

More 4 has relaunched today, with a new brand identity and a new look schedule redefining it as a lifestyle channel.

Sky Sports F1 will be coming to Virgin Media, it has been confirmed. The new channel will be the dedicated home for Formula 1.
Virgin Media’s official press release says “the channel will be added to the complete Sky Sports package available through Virgin Media, alongside Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2, Sky Sports 3 and Sky Sports 4. Subscribers to this package will have the channel added automatically at launch. Sky Sports News is separately included in all pay TV tiers”.
Virgin Media also reveal “Sky is working to develop interactive services for Sky Sports F1 viewers on the Virgin Media platform”.
Sky Sports F1 launches on Virgin Media and Sky in March.

Channel 4 are looking to launch a new channel consisting of repeats of popular programmes from the past seven days.
The idea is being slated as Project Shuffle.
Broadcast Now say “the main channel’s content would be made available for the next seven days in a linear broadcast fashion”.
For example “an episode of Location, Location, Location premiering on a Wednesday would be played out in the same slot on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday”.
It’s not known what the channel would be called, when it will launch or which TV platforms it will be available on.
