Radio changes coming Monday

A retune will be required on Monday if you want to keep receiving radio stations Smash Hits and Absolute Radio on Freeview.

BBC News Multiscreen and BBC Radio rollouts

The rollout of the BBC News Multiscreen red button service is taking place across the entire Virgin Media TV network – just press red on any BBC channel to see if your area has the new service. Previously the BBC News Multiscreen service was only available to ex-Telewest areas. Also the BBC London radio station and the BBC Radio 4 LW radio station have launched. BBC Radio 4 LW is available on channel 911 and BBC London is available on channel 937.

Mojo to be removed on 30th November

Mojo will close down on the 30th November on all platforms – including Freeview. The radio station launched in 2003 but Bauer have now decided to shut it down and concentrate on its other radio stations instead. The closure of Mojo will open up room for a new radio station to possibly launch on Freeview. Watch this space.

NME Radio launched on channel 975

A new radio station has been added to the Virgin Media lineup today. NME Radio is now available on channel 975 on Virgin TV. You may need to restart your set top box to see this new addition.
