Virgin1 +1 will no longer be available from the 1st June. This is to make way for Yesterday becoming a 24 hour channel again.
Babestation has launched on channel 42. You may need to rescan your Freeview box to pick it up. It’s on air 1am to 6am daily. Also, SmileTV3 has launched on channel 37, which airs midnight to 8am daily. Other changes from earlier this week include Big Deal moving to channel 32 (10pm to 5am daily), SmileTV1 closing, new Teletext text service Mobilizer launching on channel 109 and Virgin1 +1 reducing their hours to 6pm to 1am.
Virgin1 is now broadcasting 24 hours a day on Freeview channel 20. Also, Virgin1 +1 is now available on Freeview for the first time.
You will need to rescan your set top box to ensure you pick up all the changes. A full rescan is recommended (not just an Add Channels scan).
Virgin1 +1 currently has the wrong programme information, but this is likely to be fixed soon.
Virgin1 +1 broadcasts 6pm-6am every evening on Freeview channel 35.
Virgin 1 will broadcast 24 hours a day on Freeview from the 20th May, as it has acquired a new 24-hour slot on the Freeview platform. It will move from Mux D to the new 24-hour slot on Mux A. You may need to rescan your set top box to pick up Virgin1 from the 20th May.
Also, Virgin1 +1 will launch on Freeview (channel number to be confirmed). Virgin1 +1 will take Virgin1’s current 12-hour slot (so will probably broadcast on Freeview from 6pm onwards every day).
